Treatment Approaches
Our ortho rehab programs include a wide variety of the latest breakthroughs in treatments and techniques, including:

Designed specifically for the hockey player or figure skater looking for the competitive edge, gain member-exclusive access to our premiere program. The On-Ice Athlete Program offers a comprehensive approach to an athlete's risk of injury, flexibility, strength and balance as it relates to the mechanics of your skating stride, hockey shot or skating routine.
Skating Analysis
Using video analysis and our skating treadmill, we break down the biomechanics of your stride and offer tailored exercises that address range of motion and strength deficits, faulty skating mechanics and injury risk.

Concussion Testing (Pre & Post)
ImPACT testing is a computerized neurocognitive test for ages 12-80 that can be used as part of a comprehensive concussion evaluation. Just like an annual physical, it is recommended that you take a baseline test every year.

Dynamometer Testing
Using a handheld dynamometer, we objectively test the strength and functionality of individual muscles to allow us to build more targeted treatment plans.

Functional Movement Screening
Our full-body screening process helps us identify potential issues with movement, joints, and flexibility so we can create hockey-specific treatment plans.

Kinesiotaping
Strategically taping muscles reduces swelling and improves joint health, while also reducing pain.
Cupping
This non-invasive technique helps decrease inflammation, increase blood flow, and manage pain.
Dry Needling (coming soon)
This non-invasive technique can assist in decreasing muscle tension and helps to manage pain.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
Our trained staff uses a variety of manual therapy techniques to help muscles heal, decrease tension, and increase mobility. We use specially designed instruments to assist our treatment in this process.
Neuromuscular Stimulation
Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) is a rehabilitation technique using low-level electrical currents to stimulate muscles, aiding in muscle re-education, strength recovery, and improved overall functionality during recovery.

Therapeutic Exercise
Therapeutic exercise is a rehabilitation method involving customized physical activities to improve flexibility, strength, and endurance. Tailored to individual needs, it fosters recovery and functional enhancement after injury or surgery.
